HARRODS UNVEIL THEIR EXCLUSIVE SILVER LINING COLLECTION WITH THE LAUNCH OF HARRODS SHOE HEAVEN

Heaven has arrived early for many shopaholics. Europe’s biggest department store, where it is the norm to stop off for a glass of refreshing bubbles at the Canti Prosecco bar on your way around, is celebrating the opening of Harrods Shoe Heaven with its shiny new ‘Silver Lining Collection’.

The exclusive collection is fashioned from some of the most high-end distinguished designers and brands such as Prada, Christian Louboutin and Giuseppe Zanotti. Harrods Fashion Director ‘Helen David’ tells Grazia Daily how she asked “each designer to re-create their most iconic style and add a heavenly silver touch”. She desired to form “37 of today’s most iconic shoes” that achieve the ultimate “wow factor”, just in time “for the forthcoming festive season”.

The treasured collection embraces a wide variety of shoe types from ‘stilettos to sneakers’, for all shoe shoppers to indulge in. You will find all of these rare editions on the fifth floor of the world renowned department store in the pristine Harrods Shoe Heaven. David sought to “do something spectacular” to mark this celebration of shoes – in a first class destination.

Working closely with the luxury interior designers and architects at the ‘David Collins Studio’, Harrods Shoe Heaven was born this August. Helen David joined with David Collins Studio to create the most divine space for their highly desired shoes, making it “the most luxurious shoe department in the world”. They aimed to whisk customers off their feet in the most unique way possible.

Harrods Shoe Heaven isn’t just your traditional shoe store. Impressive grand décor has been used to resemble “more high end luxury” in a five-star hotel than a retail department. The floor is embellished in an opulent natural palette with a velvet banquette lounge, plush carpet and marble corridors. The perfect location to showcase the special Silver Lining Collection. David reveals that “Shoe Heaven is one of the biggest projects ever undertaken by Harrods and will offer a luxurious and sophisticated environment with 17 flagship shops for all of our best loved brands”.
