Whether you find it extremely exhilarating or slightly terrifying, the Burj Al Arab hotel has undeniably crafted the ultimate experience for your big day. As the third tallest hotel in the world at 920ft, you could be getting married on its towering helipad that soars 695ft above the magnificent Arabian Gulf. This iconic sail-shaped resort, situated on an artificial island in Dubai, reaches the height of luxury with this unique wedding venue.

Each ceremony is individually designed with a wedding consultant who is available 24/7 to help you create the most memorable day. Your wedding consultant will ensure that your wedding embraces all the small details that add that distinct personal touch, creating an unforgettable experience.

The extravagant hotel is an expert in staging captivating wedding arrivals, with the option to make a dramatic ‘Italian twin engine Augusta 109 aircraft’ entrance or arrive in style in a ‘Rolls Royce Phantom’. You will need at least £33,000 to create your special day, with outstanding extras such as this quickly adding up the pennies.

The rich and famous are definitely not strangers to this complex. The helipad may now be set to see weddings, but it has already seen countless memorable events. Over the years, several celebrities, including professional golfers, have marvelled at Dubai’s impressive skyline from the hotel. In 2004, Tiger Woods teed off on the helipad and Rory Mcllroy accomplished a hole in one in 2012. Many have also attempted to push the boundaries, with tennis stars, Roger Federer and Andre Agassi, taking to sport on the helipad and Formula One champion, David Coulthard, performing a nerve-wracking stunt, which is not for the faint-hearted.

The hotel’s manager, Heinrich Morio, says: “we’re always looking for new and special ways to delight and enchant our guests. We believe a once-in-a-lifetime event deserves a one-of-a-kind venue and are thrilled to add this special location to our ultimate experience collection”. If saying your intimate vows high above Dubai with the wind in your hair isn’t for you, then the Burj Al Arab hotel also presents their Marina or Sunset Gardens as a wonderful alternative.
To celebrate its 15th anniversary further, the Burj Al Arab hotel is also offering the ‘Best of the Burj’ Signature Dream Experience featuring a Rolls Royce Phantom pick-up, luxurious suite, six-course degustation dinner and signature spa experience. These extraordinary extras can also be added to enhance your wedding in the sky experience. In addition to private etiquette and dance lessons, delicious tasting sessions with award-winning chefs and even the opportunity to invent your own bespoke perfume for the big day.

A helipad wedding is certainly something that will get your adrenaline pumping, whilst capturing the most amazing photos for your wedding album. The atmospheric venue, combining beauty and uniqueness, is surely a destination that many wealthy guests desiring to get married will consider. With Dubai’s exotic sun beaming down, breath-taking panoramic views and a soothing breeze, romance is sure to blossom on the Burj Al Arab helipad. As one of the world’s most luxurious hotels, with a gold-plated iPad in every suite, the addition of its wedding in the sky concept has set yet another standard for luxury.
