Wealth of Africa

In history, 'Mother Africa' has been a land known for pain, slavery and corruption. Multiple problems seem to arise out of Africa; from diseases to the brutality of its people. With so much negativity coming out of Africa in the past, Africans might have forgotten their history. Does anyone remember Mansa Musa? The richest man to every exist in the world according to history, he was African. The greatest empires, inventions and warriors come out of Africa. Ancient Egypt was a place of gold, kings and queens and monumental craftsmanship. It is speculated that Africa started out as the place the first humans were formed. It was a place where people flourished, until things changed. Now however, Africa has gotten rather interesting again and history is being currently written.
Musicians, fashion designers, models, business men and women, and the average man have begun to see Africa’s wealth again. Africans have started working together, making each individual country flourish with wealth and peace. The top two countries in Africa make up for over a trillion of Africa's wealth. African countries and their cafés now stay open all night as music plays, good food is eaten and the good life thrives.

Africa in the last few years has birthed some great talents, musicians such as; Yemi Alade, Wizkid, Davido, Sarkodie, Seether and models such as; Flaviana Matata, Kaone Kario, Herieth Paul and Maria Borges. Lets not forget the kings and queens of business like; Isabel dos Santos, Folorunsho Alakija, Elon Musk, Christoffel Wiese and the richest man in Africa, Aliko Dangote. These great minds have wealth beyond what the outside world can even begin to imagine. Lets not forget about those not featured on the 'forbes' because it is not known how they attained their wealth.

Popular culture has taken over and the this current generation from Africa has gotten mass national and international success. The use of social media like Instagram has given the next generation the vision and the heart to know that they too can do what a Wizkid does. They can follow their dreams and dream bigger than ever before. They see their fellow people earning millions and billions in African currencies, this is a massive motivation for those in the 'slums'. It is now possible to be wealthy and clean in the eyes of the world.
Banana Island in Nigeria, PayPal, Sheraton Addis in Ethiopia, Safaris, Natural resources; these are just a few of what adds to the new wealth and development of Africa and it has become a place to do exceptional business deals as well as grow an empire. As for the empires, Africans descend from some of the most powerful rulers in history and it's great to see this younger generation embracing their kingly and queenly ancestry.
The money keeps on rolling in, the luxury properties keep getting built and the ideas keep getting bigger and better. Start-ups have becoming really popular with companies popping up all over the continent. This is a new age in Africa and these are very exciting times. So we can on all future fashion designers, future musicians, athletes, presidents business men and business women; come, contribute to the greatness and wealth of Africa.
